In a career spanning almost 35 years, in a multinational chemical company, in the banking sector, in the postal services and now as head of the Mediahuis Luxembourg media group, I have acquired a wide range of experience, both professional and personal, in corporate management (public and private), projects, human resources, restructuring, reorganization, governance and crisis situations, which I would like to share and put to good use as a mentor at BML.
A graduate engineer from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (EPFZ) and holder of an MBA (Master of Business Administration) from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, I began my professional career in 1989 at Dupont de Nemours, where I successively held the positions of production engineer, technical services manager and European sales and marketing manager, before joining Banque et Caisse d’Epargne de l’Etat in 1998 to take charge of risk management. In 2005, I joined the Direction Générale de l’Entreprise des Postes et Télécommunications, where I first managed the postal division, and then the postal financial services division. Finally, since 2013, I’ve been managing director of Mediahuis Luxembourg (formerly Saint-Paul Luxembourg), publisher a.o. of the daily newspaper “Luxemburger Wort” and the news websites “Luxembourg Times”, “Virgule” and “Contacto”.
